Making Gloucestershire the best place in the country to grow up neurodivergent

For Children and Young People

  • NDHub Gloucestershire run The Hatch in Stroud.  This is a place where neurodivergent adults, children and families come together to work on the farm.  See The Hatch.
  • Inclusion Gloucestershire run a monthly Zoom meeting for neurodivergent young people aged 13-19.  .  If you want to join the forum and have your say about things that are important to you, email: emilyl@inclusion-glos.org
  • ADHD Foundation publish 4 magazine style booklets called The Umbrella Gang
  •  A Teenagers Guide to ADHD is published by ADHD Foundation

Parent and Adult Support

Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum run regular meet-ups for parents around the county.

Gloucestershire Parent Carer Alliance provide a SEN support and advice service for parents.

SENDIASS Gloucestershire provides  information, advice and support on SEND to parents and carers of children and young people under 25.

NDHub Gloucestershire runs groups across the county for ND adults, including some for parents.

GLAD Parents is Gloucester based and provides support and events for families with SEN children.

Stroud ADHD Collective runs peer support groups for Stroud adults with ADHD, including parents.

Wotton Area Neurodivergent Support Group for ND adults and parent/carers of ND children including ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, PDA.  Meets twice monthly

Minchinhampton Additional Needs Parent Support Group meets monthly and is for any family members of children with additional needs.

ADHD UK runs various national online adult support groups, some specifically for parents/carers.
