Making Gloucestershire the best place in the country to grow up neurodiverse
Hosting an Event
We deliver two events, at no charge:
ND Identity Thrive Together This is a workshop for young people, 11-24 exploring ways to thrive. It’s suitable for young people with or without a diagnosis and their friends or siblings. We have DBS-checked facilitators who have lived experience of neurodiversity to lead the event. All you need to do is to provide the room and a co-facilitator, plus attendees. We have collateral to help you promote and explain the event to your young people. And we will provide materials to your co-facilitator to enable them to continue to deliver the event independently in the future too. We’re flexible – it can be delivered as 4 x 2 hour sessions or 2 x 1 day sessions or you can simply start with a taster session.
What is ADHD? This is a 2 hour presentation for adult youth workers, teachers, TA’s, lecturers, mentors and anyone who works with young people. It explains the fundamentals of neurodiversity generally, with detail on ADHD and gives ideas on ways to support and help young neurodiverse people to overcome difficulties and maximise their strengths. All you need to provide is a room and attendees.
If you are interested in hosting either event please get in touch via our Contact Us page.
